Did You Know?
The Gesha variety, originally from Ethiopia, found an ideal home in the lush, volcanic soil of Costa Rica's Tarrazu region. This coffee is not only rare but also a favorite in the specialty coffee world for its unique taste and vibrant character.
Coffee Fact: Gesha coffee beans are known for their incredible floral aroma and bright acidity. Each sip reveals layers of flavor, including delicate hints of jasmine, lavender, and tropical fruits.
Geographical Facts: Our Costa Rica Gesha grows at altitudes ranging from approx. 1,200 to 1,900 meters (about 3,937 to 6,234 feet) above sea level. These high altitudes, combined with volcanic soil, provide the perfect environment for cultivating this exceptional coffee.
Tasting Tip: To fully appreciate the complexity of Costa Rica Gesha, try brewing it using a pour-over method. This technique enhances the coffee's delicate flavors and allows the floral notes to shine through.
